Tenders Are Invited For Valve And Actuator Replacement

The Pre-Purchase Agreement Will Result In The Purchase Of Butterfly Valves And Associated Services For Eleven Existing Filters And Backwash Rate-Of-Flow (Rof) Valves (Bw-Mv-1 And Bw-Mv-3). The Scope Includes, But Is Not Limited To, The Following Major Elements: Manufacture Of Valves For Filters 1-11 And Backwash Rof Valves (Bw-Mv-1 And Bw-Mv-3). Mounting Of All Electric Actuators Provided By The Owner To The Valves Being Furnished. Actuators Will Be Turned Over In Two Phases: I) Actuators For Filters 4-11 And Bw-Mv-1 And Ii) Actuators For Filters 1-3 And Bw-Mv-3. Coordination With The Actuator Manufacturer To Ensure The Correct Mounting Bracket For Each Valve Is Utilized. The Mounting Brackets Shall Be Provided By The Valve Manufacturer. Valve Manufacturer Services Include Testing Of Each Assembled Valve And Actuator As A System, And Startup Services. Provision Of Shipping, Fob Destination From OwnerS Facility To ManufacturerS Facility For Owner-Provided Electric Actuators. Provision Of Shipping, Fob Destination For Assembled Valves And Electric Actuators From ManufacturerS Facility To OwnerS Facility. The Manufacturer Shall Pay For, And Assume Risks Associated With, Transportation Of The Goods And Retain Title And Control Until The Goods Are Delivered To The Point Of Destination. The Valve Pre-Purchase Contract Will Be Awarded As One Contract. Only Bids Submitted By Valve Manufacturers Meeting The Contract Requirements Will Be Considered. See Attachment For More Details.
