The Council wishes to appoint a suitable provider for the Lease of a single Light Production Device and associated software used in a Print room Repro department Light Production Device identified as a High Speed Printing Copying device designed for running high volumes and built to withstand the heat and processes caused by long term high volume usage The software falls into two categories 1 Document Make ready The software is designed to allow a fine degree of control over the print file and tailor the job with much greater control e g insert different colour size pages number pages etc 2 Transactional Data Software Captures variable data from the enterprise systems e g Northgate Revs and Bens and allows the council to process the data intelligently and add a adaptable template design to the data output e g Council Tax Bills Business rates etc which can be produced as a printed sheet an email or a web page variable data is a file that contains multi account information in a single file e g the council tax file contains a mixture of differing information for multiple Council Tax accounts
