Econsult: Estimate Of Indirect Job Impacts Of The Kiribati: Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program Prop Project Was Designed To Directly Measure Employment Improvements For Men And Women In Kiribati Fisheries Sectors, However It Was Not Designed To Capture Indirect Job Impacts. Recently, Additional Resources Have Become Available Through A Jobs Multi-Donor Trust Fund To Assess These Indirect Job Impacts.The World Bank Seeks A Consultant To Conduct This Assessment Of Indirect Job Impacts Of The Project. Observation Was That: A)Indirect Job Creation Was As Important Numerically As Creation Of Full-Time Direct Jobs; B)Seasonal Job Creation Was Equally Important In Terms Of The Number Of People Affected,And Possibly More So In Terms Of Poverty Alleviation. The Objective Of This Assignment Is To Estimate The Indirect Job Impacts Of The Project. Indirect Jobs Impacts Are Net Impacts On Jobs Outcomes, Such As The Number, Quality,Or Distribution Of Job Between Groups, Beyond Those That Are Entailed In Implementing Project Activities, In The Sector
