Acquisition of rubbish bags and taxed colored bags for the collection of household waste and sorted waste, as well as vignettes for small bulky items. In mid-2022, the colored bag sorting system will be implemented, district by district, throughout the city of Bern (with the exception, however, of district I). Sorted waste can now be collected in bags of different colors (yellow for plastic, blue and yellow striped for PET, purple for gray glass for cans and aluminum).
