Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Cook Islands Legal Services To Pcric For 2022 Assignment Description: The Assignment Is To Provide Legal Services In Connection With The Operation Of The Pcric And Pcrif Under The Pcrafi Facility, Including The Ongoing Operational Requirements To Establish Segregated Cells Within The Company. As Pcric Is Looking To Hire A Number Of Consultants To Support The Operationalization And Commencement Of Key Operations Of Pcric And Pcrif, The Services Of A Law Firm Are Required To Assist With The Contracting Of Such Consultants, Regulatory Compliance Aspects, And To Provide Day-To-Day Legal Advice. The Legal Counsel Will Report To The Ceo And Shall At Times Work With The Pcric Board, Finance & Planning Manager, Insurance Manager And Other Relevant Parties And Stakeholders. The Legal Counsel Is Expected To Work From Their Own Offices But May Be Required To Attend Meetings Between Pcrafi FacilityS Management And The Cook Islands Government, Development Partners And The Pcrafi FacilityS Own Board Of Directors And Council Of Members. All Deliverables Are Expected To Be In English. Scope Of Work: The Services Provided Can Be Categorized Into The Key Elements Below; Support In Management In Any Legal Requirements Related To The Operation Of The Company Such As Contract Arrangements With Providers And Suppliers That The Company Requires. Support Management On The Ongoing Effort To Reorganise The Company As Per The Legal Requirements To Establish A Segregated Cells Company, As Stipulated In The Pcrif Act. General Legal And Regulatory Advice In The Operation Of The Pcric And Pcrif In The Cook Islands, Including Any Legal And Regulatory Advice As May Be Needed Under The Pcrif Act And Other Relevant Cook Islands Laws.
