Request For Proposals Are Invited For Relocation Of Silo Inclined 6A&B Tension / Counter-Weight Structure From Coal Pier No. 7 At Tutuka Power Station The Activities To Include The Detail Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Transportation To Site, Construction, Testing And Commissioning Of All The Works, And Decommissioning Of The Existing Structure I. The Contractor To Provide A Detail Design To Relocate The Coal Silo Feed Conveyors, 6 A/B, Counterweight System From Coal Pier 7 To The Identified Area Between Coal Piers 9 And 10. The Required Take-Up Counterweight Will Be Determined And Existing Pulley Shafts Verified For New Operating Conditions. Particular Attention Should Be Given To The Limitation Of Sag Tensions During Coasting Conditions. Ii. The Design To Include Drainage System For Storm Water Integrated With The Existing Station Drains. Iii. The Contractor To Provide And Construct Specified Reliable Electrical Requirements (Plugs And Lights) On The New Conveyor Belt Tensioning Structure, And Connect The Electrical Power Requirements To The Existing Switchgear Iv. The Contractor To Identify All The Materials Of Construction Required To Construct A Reliably, Fit For Purpose And Duty Bound Counterweight Conveyor Belt Tensioning Structure. This To Include Provision Of All Fit For Purpose And Quality Checked Materials Of Construction. V. The Contractor To Fabricate And Install An Emergency Escape Route Between The Counter-Weight Structure And The Walkway Floor In-Between The Two (2) Conveyor Belts Above The Counterweight Structure And The Staircase From The Counterweight To Ground Floor. This To Include The Diversion Of The Washing Water/Effluent From Flowing Onto The Counter-Weight Structure And Onto The Electrical Equipment (Lighting, Boards, Motors, Plugs Etc.),I.E. Downpipes Leading To The Drainage System.
