Piping 10.1 Construction All Pipes Are To Be Made Out Of Stainless Steel Aisi 316L. Wherever It Is Required, Flexible Connection And Victaulic Coupling 10.2. Valves Provided To Avoid Stresses Into The Piping And To Facilities Removal And Replacement. All Valves Are To Be Quarter-Turn Type. The Drain Valves Will Be Located In Such Positions To Permit The Complete Drainage Of The Tank, Water Pump And Pipes. Ball Valves: Braces Body With Chromium Coated Sphere. Butterfly Valves: Cast Iron Body With Stainless Steel Disc And Trim. 10.3. Couplings All Couplings Are To Be According To Bs/En Standard Each Complete With Blind Cap And Chain, And Made Out Of Brass Or Better One. 10.4. Flushing One Complete Flushing System Will Be Provided, Through Remote Controlled Ball Valve. 11. Foam Proportioning System In Accordance With Nfpa 414 Section 4.16.4. 11.1 Construction The Artfc Is To Be Fitted With An Effective And Reliable Automatic System For Suction And Proportioning Of The Foam Concentrate Into The Water, The Proportioning Rate Is Manually Preset At The Pump Compartment. The Proportioning Valves Are Conveniently Grouped And Clearly Marked. 11.2. Operation The Proportioning System Is To Be Operated Automatically At The Preset Mixing Rate. 12. Roof Monitor (Turret) 12.1 Construction One Low Profile Electric / Hydraulic Remote Controlled Monitor Will Be Installed, Remotely Controlled By A Joy-Stick At The Dashboard. 12.2. Location Roof Monitor Will Be Installed Above The Driver Cabin On The Roof 12.3. Water / Foam Remote Controlled C/W Manual Override. 12.4.
