These B Ooster Pumping Stations Along With Their Accessories Are Maintained Regularly And Taken Out Of Service In A Planned Sequence Mostly In Winter To Carry Out The Preventive Maintenance, Inspections & Overhauling Etc. 2.0#Scope Of Work The Scope Of Work For The Ove Rhaul Of Booster Pumps And Their Accessories Of Booster Pumping Station. # A)#The Contractor Has To Take The Pump Assembly From Dew A Site To Their Workshop & Vice Versa. Dewa Shall Not Provide Any Transport To Shift The Same. For Loading & Unloading Contractor C An Use Dewa Overhead Crane Available At Pumping Stations In Coordination With The Dewa Representatives. B)#Mechanical Seal Replaceme Nt, Coupling Bush Renewal & Gland Packing Renewal, Bearing Replacement As Required. C)#Overhauling Of Pump (See Annexure I & Ii) D)# Painting Of Pump Externally E)#Rectification Of The Pump For Any Complaint Rose After Installation. F)#If Any Part Is Found Defectiv E, The Contractor Has To Repair/Replace The Same. Available Spare Shall Be Supplied By Dewa. If Any Spare Is Not Available With Dewa The Contractor Has To Arrange The Same. Additional Cost Of Spare To Be Submitted To Dewa For Approval Before Placing The Order. 3.0#Prior To Submission Of Quotation, The Following Shall Be Determined Carefully: A)#The Contractor Shall Visit The Site And Make Himself Fully Familiar With The Work Scope, Plant Access Facilities, Complexities, Etc., Before Submitting The Quotation. B)#Dewa W Ill Not Accept Any Claim For Extras Beyond The Order Rates / Prices During And After The Execution Of Work Ordered. C)#The Contract Or Will Be Provided With The Equipment Shutdown Program In Coordination With Operation & Maintenance Department Of Water Division. D)# The Contractor Should Submit The Time Schedule /Bar Chart Indicating Each Activity. E)#On Completion Of The Work, The Inspectio N Checklist Of Quality Procedures, Wherever Applicable Should Be Filled In And Submitted. F)#Site Supervision, Co-Ordination Of Fie Ld Activities, Supply Of Required Technicians, Tools, Equipments, Tackles Etc.
