To supply, install and commission 1x no. Crane on Inishboffin Pier, Inishboffin Island as per specification Tenders are invited on a fixed price basis from competent suppliers for the supply, installation and commission of a Marine Type Crane at the above location with a specification as follows: The crane shall be a 360 degree continuous rotating hydraulic jib crane with the boom mounted on a minimum 2m high column type structure. The crane shall have a working radius from 1.0m to 5.0m and shall have a safe lifting capacity of 1,500kg at the maximum outreach. The crane shall incorporate a hydraulic winch mounted on the boom with equal lifting capacity to the crane and sufficient rope to reach 5m below the pier deck level when the crane is at maximum outreach. The rope shall be fitted with a Safety hook and shall incorporate a rope limit. The hydraulic system of the crane shall incorporate a full range of safety devices such as, but not limited to, load protection valve, anti-cavitation valves and load holding valves. The crane shall comply with all relevant European Legislation regarding design, safety features, manufacture and operation. The supplier of the crane shall provide fixing down bolts and base including any adaptors necessary for fixing the crane to the pier. The crane also should have an anti 2 block safety limit switch. Crane hook shall be no less than 8 inch diameter.
