Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Recruitment For Project Coordinator The Development Objective Of Pacd Is To Facilitate The Development Of Competitive And Diversified Agriculture Value Chains For Selected Commodities (Coffee, Cocoa, Coconut, Spices And Small Livestock) In The Targeted Provinces. The Project Will Be Implemented By The Department Of Agriculture And Livestock (Dal) Through A Project Coordination Unit (Pcu), The Cocoa Board (Cb) And The Coffee Industry Corporation (Cic) Of Png. The Consulting Services (The Services) Include A Full-Time Port Moresby-Based Project Coordinator With The Project Coordination Unit (Pcu). The Successful Consultant Will Be The Focal Point Of Overall Project Coordination And Implementation To Ensure The Project Is Effectively Coordinated And Implemented. He/She Will Manage The Pcu Based In The National Department Of Agriculture And Livestock (Ndal) In Port Moresby And Will Require Frequent Travel To The Project Provinces As An Integral Part Of Duties. The Expected Start Date Of The Consulting Assignment Is Q1 2022 For 2 Years With The Possibility Of Extension. The Pcu Now Invites Eligible Individuals (Consultants) To Indicate Their Interest In Providing The Services. Interested Consultants Should Provide Information Demonstrating That They Have The Required Qualifications And Relevant Experience To Perform The Services (Attach Curriculum Vitae With Description Of Experience In Similar Assignments, Similar Conditions, Etc.). Firms Staff May Express Interest Through The Employing Firm For The Assignment And, Under Such Situation, Only The Experience And Qualifications Of Individuals Shall Be Considered In The Selection Process. The Criteria For Selecting The Consultant Are: Mandatory: MasterS Degree In Agriculture, Management, Business Administration Or Any Other Relevant Field (E.G., Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Etc.). At Least 10 Years Experience In A Management Position With Similar Responsibilities At Least 5 Years Of Operational Experience With Projects Funded By International Donors (Wb, Adb, Eu, Dfat, Etc) Excellent Understanding Of Government Procedures And Processes, And Ability To Work With A Range Of Agencies At National (Treasury, Finance, Dnpm), Provincial And Local Level Excellent Communication And Inter-Personal Skills. Ability To Make Clear, Structured Presentation To A Broad Range Of Audiences Fluent In English And Excellent Writing Skills And Ability To Prepare Clear, Concise Reports Desirable: Phd In Agriculture, Managements, Or Any Other Relevant Field. Previous Experience With Project(S) Funded By World Bank Good Knowledge Of Png Rural Areas Would Be An Advantage Tok Pisin Would Be Preferred
