Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Productive Partnerships Coordinator With Cocoa Project Management Unit The Development Objective Of Pacd Is To Facilitate The Development Of Competitive And Diversified Agriculture Value Chains For Selected Commodities (Coffee, Cocoa, Coconut, Spices And Small Livestock) In The Targeted Provinces. The Project Will Be Implemented By The Department Of Agriculture And Livestock (Dal) Through A Project Coordination Unit (Pcu), The Cocoa Board (Cb) And The Coffee Industry Corporation (Cic) Of Png. The Consulting Services (The Services) Include A Productive Partnerships Coordinator With Cocoa Project Management Unit (Pmu). It Is A Full-Time Position Based At The Cocoa Pmu In Kokopo, East New Britain Province. The Contract Duration Is 2 Years, With First 6 Months As Probation, Expected To Start In Q1 2022. Subject To Performance, It Could Be Further Extended For A Period Up To The Project Closing Date (Currently December 31, 2025). The Criteria For Selecting The Consultant Are: Essential: A Postgraduate Degree In Management, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics Or A Related Discipline. Minimum 10 Years Of Experience In Government, Ngo Or The Private Sector At Management Level. Previous Experience In Management And Coordination Position Implementing National Programs Or Donor Funded Projects. Good Knowledge Of The Pacd Value Chains In Project Provinces, Including Smallholder Production, Processing, Marketing And Trade. Excellent Communication And Inter-Personal Skills, Including Demonstrated Ability To Interact Effectively With A Broad Range Of Stakeholders (E.G. Women And Youth At Village Level; The Private Sector; Ngos; Government Agencies; Technical Specialists, Etc.). Demonstrated Management And Leadership Skills. High Integrity And Accountability. Willingness To Travel Frequently To The Field In Different Provinces. Desirable: Experience With Donor Financed Programs And Demonstrated Operational Skills.
