Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Recruitment For Project Manager, Cocoa Project Management Unit The Development Objective Of Pacd Is To Facilitate The Development Of Competitive And Diversified Agriculture Value Chains For Selected Commodities (Coffee, Cocoa, Coconut, Spices And Small Livestock) In The Targeted Provinces. The Project Will Be Implemented By The Department Of Agriculture And Livestock (Dal) Through A Project Coordination Unit (Pcu), The Cocoa Board (Cb) And The Coffee Industry Corporation (Cic) Of Png. The Consulting Services (The Services) Include A Full-Time Png Kokopo-Based Project Manager (Pm) With The Cocoa Project Management Unit. The Successful Consultant Will Be The Focal Point Of Managing And Coordination For Overall Project Implementation At The Cocoa Board. The Pm Will Manage The Project Management Unit (Pmu) Based In Kokopo In The Cb Headquarter. Travel To The Provinces Will Be Required. The Expected Start Date Of The Consulting Assignment Is Q1 2022 For 2 Years With The Possibility Of Extension. The Pcu Now Invites Eligible Individuals (Consultants) To Indicate Their Interest In Providing The Services. The Criteria For Selecting The Consultant Are: Mandatory: S/He Should Hold A Postgraduate Degree In Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics Or A Related Field Minimum 12 Years Of Experience In Government, Ngos, Donor Organizations Or The Private Sector At Management Level Or With Management Responsibilities Demonstrated Management And Leadership Skills; Ability To Lead A Multi-Sector Team; Demonstrated Communication And Hr Management Skills Experience With And A Good Understanding Of Agriculture Crops And Marketing Experience With And Good Understanding Of Government Systems And Procedures Good Writing And Communication Skills; Fluency In English Desirable: Phd In Agriculture Or Relevant Field Familiarity And Experience With World Bank Procurement, Financial Management And Safeguards Policies And Guidelines Experience In Managing Competitive Grants Programs For Agriculture Or Rural Development Tok Pisin Spoken
