Econsult: Assessment Of The State Of The Power Sector In Niger The Power Sector In Niger Is Undergoing Important Changes With Increasing Investments To Accelerate Access And A Number Of Transformational Reforms. Still, There Is A Lack Of Thorough Assessment To Understand In A Comprehensive Way The Actual Situation Of The Sector, The Implications Of Various Initiatives On The Energy Transition And The Position Of The Sector Looking Forward. The Study Will Provide The Underpinning Assessment Of The Direction The Sector Is Taking And Recommendations To Support The Transition To More Modern And Efficient Sector. The Scope Of Work Includes Various Tasks Focusing On The Followings: Task 1: Mapping Of Relevant Stakeholders In The Sector And Institutional Diagnostic Task 2: Utility Governance And Human Resources Development Task 3: Technical Operation Of The Power Sector Task 4: Financing The Investment To Increase Access To Electricity Task 5: Financial Analysis And Viability Of The Sector Focusing On The Utility Task 6: Assessment Of The Implementation Of The Reform Agenda And Recommendation On New Reforms Areas To Build A More Resilient Sector
