Expression Of Interest Are Invited For Recruitment For Senior Procurement Officer, Coffee Pmu The Development Objective Of Pacd Is To Facilitate The Development Of Competitive And Diversified Agriculture Value Chains For Selected Commodities (Coffee, Cocoa, Coconut, Spices And Small Livestock) In The Targeted Provinces. The Project Will Be Implemented By The Department Of Agriculture And Livestock (Dal) Through A Project Coordination Unit (Pcu), The Cocoa Board (Cb) And The Coffee Industry Corporation (Cic) Of Png. The Consulting Services (The Services) Include A Full-Time Goroka -Based Senior Procurement Officer With Cic Pmu. The Successful Consultant Will Function As A Core Member Of The Cic Project Management Unit To Manage And Implement All Planned And Approved Procurement Activities. The Expected Duration Of The Consulting Assignment Is 2 Years Starting Q1 2022 And Possibility Of Further Extension Up To The Project Closing Date, Subject To Annual Performance Review, An Ongoing Requirement And Funds Availability. The Pcu Now Invites Eligible Individuals (Consultants) To Indicate Their Interest In Providing The Services. Interested Consultants Should Provide Information Demonstrating That They Have The Required Qualifications And Relevant Experience To Perform The Services (Attach Curriculum Vitae With Description Of Experience In Similar Assignments, Similar Conditions, Etc.). Firms Staff May Express Interest Through The Employing Firm For The Assignment And, Under Such Situation, Only The Experience And Qualifications Of Individuals Shall Be Considered In The Selection Process. The Criteria For Selecting The Consultant Are: Essential: An Advanced Degree (Ma/Ms/Mba) In A Relevant Discipline (E.G., Engineering, Procurement, Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics) Or Practical Experience (Minimum 5 Years Of Recent And Relevant Procurement Assignments). Five-Year Similar Work Experience, Including Procurement Reforms, Procurement Implementation. Proficiency With World Bank Or Asian Development Bank, Or Similar Financing InstitutionS Procurement Guidelines And Procedures. High Integrity And Accountability In All Aspects Of Project Procurement; And Ability To Establish And Maintain Effective Working Relationships With Colleagues, Other Departments, Vendors And The Public. Desirable: Cips Or Other Relevant Membership In Procurement Association. Procurement Trainings, Courses And Workshops. Previous Experience In Handling Procurement Activities Funded By World Bank Desirable.
