Technical support on the implementation of programs on strengthening the development of the Veterinary ServicesLivestock Sector Development ProjectLIVESTOCK SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT IBRD AND INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION IDA Agroindustry and Food Security Agency UZAIFSA invites individual consultants to express their interest in providing the above mentioned service The objective of this work is to provide on a continuous way consulting services to the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development SCVLD of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the implementation of programs on development of the Veterinary Services to meet targets pointed for Priority Development Area 3 Delivery of improved animal health and veterinary services of the Uzbekistan Livestock Development strategy 2020 2030 In cooperation with the staff of the State Veterinary Committee the Consultant will perform the following specific tasks Providing technical assistance for the most effective solution of structural problems of the Veterinary Service that impede the acceleration of development following the ongoing development of Epidemiology and Risk Analysis divisions inside the Animal Health Department Providing technical assistance in the implementation of priority areas for the development of the provision of equipment for veterinary services and technologies of laboratory systems as well as the development of scientific and technical potential Developing contingency and emergency plans preparation of Contingency Plan for FMD emergency plans for the main infectious disease affecting the livestock Laboratory management information system LIMS planning developing status quo analysis on existing facilities and lab personnel knowledge evaluating costs of necessary resources for the implementation of an inter laboratory management information system Developing and conducting trainings to LIMS lab operators providing material for trainer trainers program Monitoring results with the guarantee of continuous technical assistance support and LIMS maintenance
