Consultancy services to undertake a national waste characterization study Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management ProgramThe main objective of this consultancy is to carry out a detailed assessment study of the waste and e waste material flows and characteristics existing waste management practices and trends in major towns and cities in Zambia The study will provide background material and strategic guidance on the roadmap towards sustainable waste and e waste management in Zambia The study shall include generation of baseline data for the ongoing waste management in Zambia including the collection of on the ground baseline data on waste management policy legal institutional arrangements and provide initial recommendations towards limiting open burning of waste in Zambia The geographical coverage of the study will be nine 9 provinces and selected municipalities as will be informed by literature review
