Community Training For 25 Community Outdoor Recreational Spaces Biodiversity Plans Clare Local Development Company Cldc Are Inviting Written Tenders From Competent Individuals Companies Or Consortia With Expertise In Ecology And Associated Areas To Provide Bespoke Training To Twenty Five Communities Across Co Clare To Enhance The Biodiversity On Their Outdoor Recreational Areas The Training Will Include On How To Survey And Map An Outdoor Recreational Area And Develop An Overall Biodiversity Enhancement Plan Which Will Seek To Increase The AreaS Biodiversity Through Habitat Protection Habitat Creation Connecting Habitats And Increasing Percentage Habitat Cover And Diversity Plans Could Potentially Incorporate The Implementation Of A Variety Of Green Infrastructure In Existing Public Areas Such As Trees Hedgerows Orchards Wildflower Meadows Ponds And Other Biodiversity Enhancements Each Local Community Will Receive Bespoke Training In How To Implement All Aspects Of The Plan During The Initial And Follow Up Training Sessions The Community Biodiversity Enhancement Plan Will Also Include A Measurement Of The Potential Amount Of Carbon That Could Be Sequestered On Full Implementation The Trainer Will Show Each Community The Methodology And Rationale Behind The Calculations And The Communities Will Attain A Greater Understanding As To How Their Local Recreational Space Could Help Deliver National Targets On Climate Change And Carbon Sequestration The Consultants Will Be Required To Research Scope And Comply With Applicable Legislation Policy Standards And Guidelines The Training Will Be Delivered With Specific Reference To The All Ireland Pollinator Plan And County Clare Biodiversity Strategy Br
