Social Support For Resilient Livelihoods ProjectThe Malawi Social Support For Resilient Livelihood Project Ssrlp Is Entirely Devised Around The Second Malawi National Social Support Program Mnssp Ii And Implementation Plan The Project Intends To I Improve Resilience Which Is Understood As The Ability Of Households To Improve Initial Levels Of Welfare In The Face Of Chronic Stress As Well As Maintaining Welfare In The Face Of Shocks And Ii Support Delivery Systems For Social Registry Management Information Systems E Payments And Citizens Engagement As Well As Efforts To Strengthen Overall Capacity And Harmonization In The Sector The Project Is Structured Around Three Mutually Reinforcing Components Namely I Improving Social And Economic Inclusion Ii Strengthening Harmonized Delivery Systems And Iii Capacity Building And Institutional Strengthening Support Component 1 Improving Social And Economic Inclusion This Component Focuses On The Consolidation Of An Appropriate Package Of Support For Beneficiary Households With A Mix Of Program Interventions Including Social Cash Transfers Livelihoods Support And Enhanced Public Works As Well As An Option For Scalable Financing In Time Of Crisis Component 2 Strengthening Harmonized Delivery Systems This Component Will Establish Deliver Systems To Promote Harmonization Within The Social Safety Net Sector And Potentially Link To Other Sectors To Improve Effectiveness Of Delivering Interventions Component 3 Capacity Building And Institutional Strengthening Support This Component Will Support The Enactment Of The Mnssp Ii The Setting Up Of The Necessary Institutional Structure For Its Implementation As Well As The General Management And Evaluation Of The Ssrlp The Following Are Goods And Services To Be Procured Under Open International Competitive Procedures Under The Project Goods And Non Consulting Services Goods And Non Consulting Services Will Include Contracts For I Motor Vehicles Ii Iec Materials Iv Ict Equipment And Upgrades Vi Interactive V Ict System Adaptation Modules For Using Mis For Scalable Sctp Vi Ict Equipment And System Upgrades For Ubr For Scalable Sctp Vii E Payment Services For Scalable Sctp And Viii Parametric Insurance Coverage Against Drought Consulting Services Consulting Services Will Include Contracts For I Baseline Mid Line And End Line Surveys Ii Evidence Generation Survey Iii Support To Scalable Sctp Iv Data Collection To Support Sctp And V Provision Of Insurance Brokerage Services
