The Department Of Veterans Affairs Va Office Of Procurement Acquisition And Logistics Technology Acquisition Center Tac Located At 23 Christopher Way Eatontown Nj Intends To Award A Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Modification To Ability Network Inc Located At 100 6Th St N Ste 900A Minneapolis Mn 55403 To Modify Its Existing Contract To Provide Continued Unsolicited Response Ur Virtual Private Network Vpn Services In Support Of Va Financial Services Center Fsc The Tac Intends To Award Modification Under The Authority As Implemented By Federal Acquisition Regulation Far Subpart 6 302 1 Entitled Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements However In Accordance With Far 5 207 C 16 Ii All Responsible Sources May Submit A Capability Statement Proposal Or Quotation Which Shall Be Considered By The Agency The Proposed Period Of Performance Is A 4 Month Extension To The Existing Contract To Provide Uninterrupted Support The Proposed Modification Will Provide The Agency With The Mechanism To Obtain Data To Validate Claims For Processing And Payment Via A Centers For Medicare And Medicaid Services Cms Approved Commercially Available Internet Based Connection This Effort Includes Ancillary Support Services To Ensure This Connection Maintains A 99 Uptime This Solution Must Able To Transfer The Data To Fsc In A Secure Manner And Support The Migration To The New Va Electronic Health Record Ehr System Given The Short Time Until The Existing Contract Ends Va Must Extend This Contract To Allow For Completion Of Planning And Execution Of The Follow On Action This Notification Shall Close On Monday October 12 2020 At 12 00 Pm Est The Points Of Contact Pocs For This Action Are Alma Aliaj At Alma Aliaj Va Gov And Michael Weckesser Contracting Officer At Michael Weckesser Va Gov
