Detailed Design Bidding Documents And Supervision For Restoration And Adaptive Reuse Of I Emirs Palace Ii Italian Hotel And Iii Russian Consulate Makhalla Committee Building In Kagan Bukhara Region Medium Size Cities Integrated Urban Development ProjectThe Consulting Services The Services Include Development Of Detailed Design Estimates And Bid Documents As Well As Services For onstruction Supervision Restoration And Adaptive Reuse Of The Emir Palace And Selected Cultural Heritage Assets In Kagan Objective The Gou Project Implementation Unit Piu Is Seeking An Experienced Consultancy Firm With Proven Relevant International Experience To Prepare Detail Designs For The Restoration Proposals For Adaptive Reuse Along With Construction Supervision Services For Eight Selected Heritage Assets Of Different Size And Historic Value In The City Of Kagan Summary Of Scope Of Work This Consultancy Will Be Divided In Two Phases Briefly Described Herewith Phase I Analysis Preparation Of Detailed Designs And Bidding DocumentsThis Phase Will Produce A Set Of Deliverables Including Without Being Limited To All Survey Works Concept Designs Detailed Designs And Cost Estimates Needed To Finalize The Detailed Design Dossier And Preparation Of Bidding Documents In Particular Task 1 Diagnostic And Scoping Of Restoration Preservation Works This Task Will Include All The Necessary Diagnostics To Define The Final Scope Of Restoration Works Including Detailed Assessment And Description Of The Current Condition Of The Buildings And Their Territories Historic Investigation Analysis And Geometric And Material Surveys The Scoping Process Should Include Recommendations On Prioritized Necessary Works With Realistic Timeline And A Preliminary Estimate For The Volume Of Works And Costs For The Restoration Works Task 2 Preparation Of Detailed Design And Input For Bidding Documents This Task Will Include The Delivery Of I Detailed Design Documents Ii Adaptive Reuse And Or Functional Upgrading Reports And Iii Tender Ready Technical Input For Bidding Documents Phase Ii Construction Supervision ServicesIncluding But Not Limited To Supervising The Contracted Civil Works Needed For The Restoration And Adaptive Reuse Of Herniate Buildings Including But Not Limited To Site Supervision And Contractor Liaison And Supervision Of Day To Day Restauration And Construction Works Ensuring Contractor Compliance With Relevant World Bank Safeguards Policies As Applicable In Relation To Cultural Heritage Environmental Management Aspects And Involuntary Resettlement Land Acquisition If As Relevant Reviewing And Certifying Or Return For Correction All Interim Payment Requests For Payment To Contractors And Verifying Completion Of Works Supporting The Piu During The Defect Liability Period Post Construction Period The Expected Total Duration Of Phase I Of The Assignment Is 12 Twelve Months After Contract Commencement Including Time Required For Client And Stakeholders Approvals And 24 Months Including 1 Year Of Defects Liability Period For Phase Ii The Estimated Level Of Effort For These Consulting Services Is Estimated To Be In The Range Of Usd 1 3 Million The Project Implementation Unit Under Ministry Of Investments And Foreign Trade Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan As The Implementing Agency Now Invites Eligible Consulting Firms Consultants To Indicate Their Interest In Providing The Services Interested Consultants Should Provide Information Demonstrating That They Have The Required Qualifications And Relevant Experience To Perform The Services Expression Of Interest Should Cover But Not Limited To Corporate Profile Years In Business Experience Relevant To The Project Activities Key Staff Resources And Core Business
