Tenders are invited for Supply of a r v for Animal Use 10 Dose VialAntirabies inactivated tissue culture vaccine for animaluse in 10 dose vialNote 1 Must be an inactivated Tissue Culture Vaccinecontaining OIE recommended vaccine strain inactivation procedure adjuvant and preservatives excipients used in thevaccine should be mentioned 2 Potency should be equal to or more than 1 IU perdose 3 Must have a shelf life of 03 years or more 4 Must be in 10 Dose Vials 5 Must provide protective immunity for a period of 03years in vaccinated animals 6 The product must be registered at the VeterinaryDrug Control Authority of the Department of AnimalProduction and Health of Sri Lanka 7 A detailed set of literature of recent studies withinthe past 03 years to illustrate the efficacy of therelevant vaccine brand in the target species especiallydogs sample size should be more than 25 dogs mustbe submitted 8 All new offers which do not have past experience foruse in mass vaccination program s against Rabies in SriLanka should prove the efficacy of the vaccine througha field serological study conducted at a WHO OIEreference laboratory 9 Performance record Performance guarantee should be submitted to provethat the product has been sold to use in massvaccination programs with a minimum of 500 000doses in a single consignment at least twice in the past5 years in rabies endemic countries other than the country of manufacture of thevaccine 10 Vaccine should be transported at the temperaturerange of 2 8 c 11 Sticker should be provided for each dose Labelwith vaccine brand name batch no and expiry date 12 Certificate of GMP of the manufacturer asstipulated by WHO OIE must be provided 200 000Vials100 000 Vials Immediately100 000 Vials 04 Months after 1st lot 13 Product with past complaints or failures will not beconsidered 14 Packing Five 05 vials each containing 10 doses should bepacked in a single box 20 such boxes must be wrappedwith thick transparent polythene packing material Two of above 1000 dose packs must be packed in rigidform box with adequate cool packs 15 Cold chain monitoring card data loggers One coldchain monitor for 1000 doses should be provided 16 Vaccination Record Cards Vaccination record cardsshould be supplied for each dose of vaccine Specifications for vaccine record cards 260 gsm thick art board Length 20 cm x Width 14 cm Sinhala and Tamil wording should be provided as perthe attached specimen vaccination card 17 Five 05 Vials from each batch will be randomlycollected as reference samples by an authorized officerof theAnimal Quarantine Office of the Department of AnimalProduction Health Sri Lanka 18 The supplier should inform the Animal QuarantineOffice prior to the clearance of the vaccine from theport of entryin Sri Lanka with submission of the following reports Certificate of Analysis Summary Lot Protocols of Productions and QualityControl QC testing of single harvest bulk and finalproduct Lot Release Certificate from the National ControlLaboratory NCL of the manufacturing country Certificate of origin Bid validity period Bid should be valid till 08 12 2020Bid Bond valid till 07 01 2021Amount of Bid Bond LKR 1 510 080 00 Or USD 8 112 36 to be submitted along with the Bid Closing Date 2020 06 12
