The City Government of Addis Ababa Transport Authority Invites Sealed Bids from Eligible Bidders for the Construction of Electrical Installation Work at Torhailoch Tax TerminalBid document price Birr 100 00Bid bond Birr 20 000 00The City Government of Addis Ababa Transport Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Electrical Installation Work at Torhailoch Tax Terminal The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from commencement of works Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence i Its certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction or from other relevant government institutions with category Electrical Installation Electro Mechanical Grade 7 and above renewed for 2012 E C ii Its trading license renewed for 2012 E C iii Its tax clearance certificate valid at a bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender iv VAT registration certificate andv Registration as a supplier in the list of the mandated public body i e Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency PPPAA 3 The bid is open to firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures from eligible source countries Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding NCB procedure specified in the bidding documents and is open to all eligible bidders 4 Interested eligible firms may obtain further information if required but exclusively in a written form at the address given below from Morning 8 30 AM to 12 30 PM and Afternoon 1 30 PM to 5 30 PM from Mondays to Friday and except public holidays Not later than Five 5 calendar days before the submission date 5 A complete set of the Bidding Document may be purchased by interested applicants upon payment of A non refundable fee of ETB 100 One Hundred Ethiopian Birr Only and the method of payment will be in cash 6 Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days plus 28 days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid proposal after bid Opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 20 000 Twenty Thousand The Bid Security must be in the form of CPO Unconditional Bank Guarantee from the recognized bank of Ethiopia 7 This bid will stay open for 15 consecutive calendar days starting from the day it appears in the newspaper and the final submission date will be on the 15th day of this announcement Time Afternoon 2 00 PM 8 00 Local time or the earlier No electronic submissions are accepted Rejection will be carried to lately submitted bids 8 Technical and Financial Bid Documents will be opened at the same place and date at the Afternoon at 2 30 PM 8 30 Local time in the presence of bidders or bidder s representatives who choose to attend 9 City Government of Addis Ababa Transport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids
