Development of the Bathymetric Study and a Dao Works for the Curage of the Dam of Kozah Kara

Expression of Interest are invited for Development of the Bathymetric Study and a Dao Works for the Curage of the Dam of Kozah Kara 1 The Water and Sanitation Heritage Society in Urban and Semi Urban Areas SP EAU has obtained from the French Development Agency AFD a financing agreement for the National Water Development Program AFD PND Eau AFD and intends to use part of the amount to make payments for the services of a consultant Design Office for carrying out the bathymetric study and defining the work clearing of the Kozah dam 2 The Services of the Applicant will aim to carry out or establish The bathymetry of the dam Precisely the level and siltation volumes of the dam The nature of the sediments The natural water balance of the dam over the longest possible period An estimate of the needs of the populations of the project area for drinking water by 2045 on the basis of studies already carried out by SP EAU Contributions losses and levies for food in the various urban and semi urban centers that feed there The quantity and estimated quality of available water resources Water quality In view of the level of siltation a CAD works and a confidential estimate of the cost of the cleaning works as well as a timetable of implementation An environmental and social study for carrying out the cleaning works 3 The eligibility criteria for AFD financing are specified in Article 1 3 of the Guidelines for the Procurement of AFD Financed in Foreign States available online on the website of the AFD http www afd fr 4 The estimated duration of the services is six 06 months 5 Applicants can only submit one application in their own name or in a Group If a Candidate including the member of a Grouping submits or participates in several candidatures these will be eliminated However the same Subcontractor may participate in several applications If the Candidate is formed into a Grouping the Expression of Interest must include a copy of the Grouping agreement concluded by all of its members or a letter of intent to form a Grouping signed by all its members and accompanied by a copy of the proposed Grouping agreement In the absence of this document the other members will be considered as Subcontractors The references and qualifications of Subcontractors are not taken into account in the evaluation of applications 6 Interested Respondents must provide information demonstrating that they are qualified and experienced to perform these Services The general qualification and the number of permanent professional staff the nature of the candidate s activities and the number of years of experience the candidate s qualifications in the field of services and in particular references concerning the execution of similar contracts The Contracting Authority will also
