Tenders Are Invited For Somalia Training On Business Skills Development And Creating Interactive Monitoring Evaluation Learning Mechanisms Durable Solutions Project Dsp Managed By A Consortium Of Partners The Danish Refugee Council Redss Wyg And Locally Based Community Partners Is Undertaking Resilience Livelihoods And Natural Resource Management Activities For Communities Living In Mogadishu And Kismayo One Of The Key Project Objectives Is To Encourage Private Sector Development And Employment Generation Through Building Capacities Of Both Trainees And Growing Businesses In Order To Facilitate This Dsp Has Created Two Business Development Services Centres Bdscs In Mogadishu And Kismayu The Bdscs Has The Twin Objectives Of Improving Skills Particularly For Idps Returnees And Vulnerable Host Community As Well As Providing Technical Assistance Ta To Small And Growing Businesses With TrainingWyg Is Expected To Provide The Trainees With Business Skills And Entrepreneurship Training Through The Bdscs On An Ongoing Basis This Is To Supplement Any Technical Skills And Other Competencies That Might Already Exist With The Businesses Description Of The AssignmentThe Consultants Will Develop Based On The Bdsc Generic Modular Curriculum Framework A Series Of Generic Training Modules In Order To Facilitate The Delivery And Implementation Of The Bdsc Training And Skills Development Programme The Consultants Are Expected To Bring His Her Practical Experience In Outcome Based Education And Material Development In The Field Of Entrepreneurship Development And Support To Emerging Businesses In Mogadishu And Kismayu The Consultants Must Have Prior Experience Working In Entrepreneurship Development And Private Sector Development Training And Skills Development To Business Entities Msmes Cooperatives And Overall Business Capacity Development The Consultants Will Identify Existing Trainee Gaps And Conduct The Training While Adhering To The Following Principles Culturally Inclusive And Sensitive Curriculum Material And Pedagogy Special Attention To Be Paid To Literacy And Numeracy Levels Linguistic Sensitivity And Adult Learners Pedagogical Principles Progression Between Training Modules Beginner Intermediate High Skills Development Must Contribute To Overall Women Empowerment And Material Should Be Mindful Of Culture Attitudes And Practices That May Reinforce Gender Stereotypes Design And Execute An Interactive Training And Monitoring Mechanism To Ensure Quality And Real Time MelKey Tasks Conduct The Necessary Preparatory Activities In Developing Customized Trainings For The Trainees In Consultation With The Project Staff Based On Assessed Gaps On Priority Areas Support The Bdsc Coordinators And The Team Leader In Rolling Out Skills Related Training In The Bdcss Conduct Business Skills Development Trainings To 180 Dsp Trainees 90 For Mogadishu And 90 Kismayu Conduct Tot Training For 12 Business Development Support Providers Bdss With An Objective To Build Their Capacity To In Turn Train Local Businesses Offer One On One Coaching Support To Trainees Businesses Maintain A Supervisory Role To Guide The Skills Training And Apprenticeship Through The Project Implementation Period Deliverables Outputs A Detailed Training Plan For The Training Period Training Delivered To 180 Trainees Tot Training To 12 Bdss Progress And Final Report Submission To Wyg A Start Up Toolkit For Tots An Interactive Training And Mechanism System To Ensure Quality And Real Time MelCompanyS Profile A Pool Of Expert Trainers Including Locals With Extensive Specialized Experience In Business Development Skills Training And Entrepreneurship Skills A Minimum Of 8 Years General Professional Experience In The Area Relevant To The Assignment Material Development Education And Training Is Required Of Which At Least 5 Years Work Experience In Project Supporting Business Entrepreneurship And Support To Msmes In Developing Countries Writing Skills Plain Language For Adult Learners With Limited Literacy Levels Knowledge And Experience Of Facilitation Techniques In Which Learning Outcomes Are Met While Ensuring That Indigenous Knowledge And Participants Contribution To Learning Process Is Valued Would Be An Asset Working With Diverse Cultural And Skills Background Previous Experience Of Having Undertaken A Similar Activity In The Project Target Would Be A Plus How To Apply If You Meet The Minimum Qualifications Please Send Your Application To Dsp Procurement Wyg Com By 10Th September 2019
