Request For Expression Of Interest For Recruit Consultant Firm For Regional Assessment Of Hazards Vulnerabilities And Risks In Eccas CountriesProject Name Strengthening Drm Capacity In EccasThe Following Contract Recruitment A Consultant Firm For The Regional Assessment Of Hazards Vulnerabilities And Risks In The Eccas Member States Services Cabinet Are To Contribute To A Better Understanding Of Hazards Vulnerabilities And Risks In Central Africa Identify Areas To Major Hazards Of Hydrometeorological Origin In Order To Facilitate Decision Making For Measures Protection Of People And Community Property More Specificly Identify And Map Hazards And Major Risks Covering The Regional Extent Nationally At Least Until The Relevant Administrative Level 2 In The Region Of Eccas Provide An Opportunity For Stakeholders In Capacity Building Central Africa In The Area Of Knowledge Of Hazards Vulnerability Assessment And Risk Analysis Including The Use Of Relevant Data And Information This Knowledge On Hazards Vulnerabilities And Risks Will Be Helpful To Communities Countries And Regional Entities Of Central Africa In Their Development Process As Well As All Stakeholders For Sustainable Development And Climate Resistant In Central Africa The Firm Therefore Will Be Responsible For The Identification And Mapping Of Hazards Vulnerabilities And Major Risks With An Inventory Of Available Data And Information It Will Undertake A Literature Review Of Available Data And Information And Will Submit A Report Containing All The Data Available For Each Country And Regional Level Eccas To Achieve This The Cabinet Will Consult Widely With Stakeholders In The Eleven Member States Of Eccas And Six Regional Organizations Watershed Policy Available Information On Hazards Vulnerabilities And Risks And The Needs For Understand The Relevant Hazards I Flooding Ii Drought Iii Bush Fires Iv Landslides V Earthquakes Vi Volcanic Eruptions And Vii Coastal Risks Analyze The Vulnerability Of Border Areas Identified As At Risk Including I Preventive Measures Required And The Needs Of The Countries Concerned In Terms Of Risk Reduction Ii Recommendations To Strengthen Risk Prevention And Mitigation And Preparedness Measures Including Early Warning And Iv Concept Notes For The Implementation Of Future Development Projects
