Of Interest The Ministry Of Tourism Of Cambodia Has Received Financing From The French Development Agency Afd And Intends To Use Part Of The Funds Thereof For Payments Under The Following Project Tourism Commercial Capacity Building Programme The Services Of The Consultant Shall Consist Of Undertaking A Detailed Study Of The Socio Economic Impacts And Benefits Of The Inbound Chinese Tourism Market On The Tourism Sector And The Related Economy In Cambodia The Ministry Of Tourism Wishes To Select A Consultancy Firm The Consultant With Proven International Experience And Able To Mobilize Both National And International Experts And Hereby Invites Consultancy Firms To Show Their Interest In Delivering The Services Described Above Eligibility Criteria To AfdS Financing Are Specified In Communities Such As Skills Creation Employment Generation Alleviation Of Poverty And Community Resilience Local Data Collection Collection Of Quantitive And Qualitative Data From Members Of Both The Resident And Tourist Stakeholders Of The Chinese Community Impact Of Tourism Displacement On Other Tourist Groups Recommendations On How To Sustainably Maximise Economic Benefits From The Chinese Tourism Market And To Reduce Negative Impacts Including How To Target And Engage High Value Well Educated Outbound Chinese Tourists In The Experiential Sectors Of Eco And Cultural Tourism Determination Of The Similarity Of The Experiences Will Be Based On Extensive Experience Related To International Tourism And Recreation Economics Demonstrated Experience In Undertaking Similar Tasks
