Tenders Are Invited For Selection Of Idiq Contractors For The Deployment Of Lv Bifurcation And Network Improvement 1 The Republic Of Ghana And The United States Of America Acting Through The Millennium Challenge Corporation Mcc Have Entered Into A Millennium Challenge Compact On August 5 2014 Under Which Mcc Will Provide Funding To The Government Of Ghana The Government In An Amount Not To Exceed Four Hundred And Ninety Eight Million Two Hundred Thousand United States Dollars Us 498 200 000 Mcc Funding To Facilitate Poverty Reduction Through Economic Growth The Compact Pursuant To The Terms Of The Compact The Government Committed To Provide Funding As A Government Contribution To Support The Implementation Of The Compact In An Amount Equal To No Less Than Seven And One Half Percent 7 5 Of The Amount Of Funding Provided By Mcc In The Compact The Government Contribution 2 The Government Of Ghana The Government Acting Through The Millennium Development Authority Mida Or Mca Entity Intends To Apply A Portion Of The Mcc Funding To Eligible Payments Under A Contract For Which This Invitation For Quotation Ifq Or Invitation Is Issued Any Payments Made By The Mca Entity Under 30Th October 2018 And Daily Graphic On The 29Th October 2018 5 The Mca Entity Intends To Award Multiple Up To Three 3 To Cover Accra East And Accra West Regions Of Ecg And Tamale Service Area Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Idiq Works Head Contracts Pursuant To This Invitation Which Provides For The Selection Of Qualified Contractors With The Appropriate Technical And Financial Capacity Competence And Expertise To Perform The Deployment Of Low Voltage Lv Bifurcation Under Individual Work Orders Wos Mida Reserves The Right To Award Fewer Contracts The Idiq Works Contract Awards Related To This Assignment Would Be For A Period Of Approximately Twenty Eight 28 Calendar Months Or Up To End Of Compact On 6Th September 2021 Whichever Comes First 6 Mida Reserves The Right
