General Procurement Notice Gpn For National Road 13 Improvement And Maintenance Project Lao National Road 13 Improvement And Maintenance Project And It Intends To Apply Part Of The Proceeds To Payments For Goods Works Related Services And Consulting Services To Be Procured Under This Project This Project Will Be Jointly Financed By The Government Of Lao Pdr Through Road Fund International Development Association Ida Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Aiib And Nordic Development Fund Ndf The Project Includes The Following Components A Road Improvement And Maintenance This Component Includes Road Improvement Operation And Maintenance Works For The Following Road Sections I Section From Sikeut Km12 To Songpeuay Km 31 Which Will Be Upgraded From 2 To 4 Lane Road And Ii Section From Songpeuay Km 31 To Phonhong Km 70 Which Will Be Improved Along The Existing 2 Lane Road Which Would Be Procured Through Open International Competitive Bidding B Technical Assistance And Supervision This Component Will Support Mpwt To Manage The Opbrc Implementation Implement Traffic Safety Activities Overloading Control And Enhance Environmental And Social Monitoring And Supervision And Will Also Support Preparation Of Studies For Future Investments On Other Sections Of Nr13 Under This Component An Opbrc Supervision Consultancy Services Contract Would Be Procured Through International Competitive Procurement And C Project Management This Component Will Support Project Management Including Technical And Operational Assistance For The Day To Day Management Of Project Activities Including Training On Output And Performance Based Contracting Project Planning And Execution Financial Management Procurement Monitoring And Evaluation And Technical And Financial Audits Under This Component Project Management Consultant And Road Safety Audit Consultant Would Be Procured Through International Competitive Procurement Procurement Of Contracts Financed By The World Bank Will Be Conducted Through The Procedures As Specified In The World Bank S Procurement Regulations For Ipf Borrowers Procurement In Investment Project Financing Hereinafter Referred To As Procurement Regulations Dated July 1 2016 Revised November 2017 And Is Open To All Eligible Firms And Individuals As Defined In The Procurement Regulations After Project Negotiations The World Bank Shall Arrange The Publication On Its External Website Of The Agreed Initial Procurement Plan And All Subsequent Updates Once It Has Provided A No Objection Specific Procurement Notices For Contracts Subject To Open International Competitive Procurement Will Be Announced As They Become Available In Un Development Business Online On The World Bank S External Website Www Worldbank Org In The Ministry S Website Www Mpwt Gov La And Newspapers In Foreign And Local Languages Such As Vientiane Times Newspapers Viengchanhmai Pasason Newspapers Etc Interested Eligible Firms And Individuals Who Would Wish To Be Considered For The Provision Of Goods Works Non Consulting Services And Consulting Services For The Above Mentioned Project Or Those Requiring Additional Information Should Contact The Borrower At The Address Below
