General Procurement Notice For Freetown Water Supply And Sanitation Master Plan And Investment Studies The Principal Objectives Of This Project Are To Develop A Master Plan For A 15 Year Period Including The Preparation Of Detailed Investment Projects To Meet Immediate And Medium Term Water Supply And Sanitation Requirement For The Capital City Freetown Development Of The Master Plan And Investment Projects Will As Much As Possible Be Based On An Integrated Water Resources Management Integrated Urban Water Management Approach 3 The Project Includes The Following Components I Coordination For Integrated Urban Water Management Iuwm This Component Will Facilitate The Institutionalisation Of An Effective Coordination Mechanism For Promoting Iwrm Approach To Water Supply And Sanitation Services Provision In Freetown Ii Priority Investment Project Preparation This Component Entails Preparation Of Detailed Investment Proposals Including Engineering Designs And Tender Document Environmental And Social Management Plan And Economic And Financial Appraisal To Enable Immediate Investment To Alleviate The Water And Sanitation Situation The Component Also Includes The Preparation Of A Resource Mobilisation White Paper Detailed Scope Of Activities Will Be Provided In Request For Proposals Iii Master Plan Development And Medium Term Investment Project Preparation This Component Includes The Development Of The Water Supply And Sanitation Master Plan Including Solid And Liquid Waste For The Capital City In Addition To The Preparation Of Medium Term Investment Projects Including Iv Project Management This Component Provides For Measures Including Technical Assistance And Logistics To Enable Effective And Efficient Delivery Of The Project 4 Procurement Of Goods And Or Works Will Be In Accordance With The Banks Rules Of Procedure For The Procurement Of Goods And Works Acquisition Of The Services Of Consultants Will Follow The Banks Rules Of Procedure For The Use Of Consultants May 2008 Edition Revised July 2012 Requests For Proposals For Carrying Activities Under Components I To Iii Above Were Issued February 2017 In Line With The Advance Contracting Procedure Adopted By The Project And Approved By The African Development Bank
