Request For Expressions Of Interest For Consultancy Service For Project Engineering Rehabilitation And Reconstruction Loan Hurricane Irma This Project Is Being Implemented By The Ministry Of Works And Housing Mwh Through The Establishment Of A Project Implementation Management Unit Pimu Mwh Hereinafter Referred To As The Employer Intends To Engage The Services Of A Consulting Engineer For A Period Of Twenty Four Months The Consultant Will Be Engaged To Provide Technical And Construction Supervision Services To The Office Of The Pimu He She Will Report To The Project Coordinator And Will Be Responsible For Implementation Of Infrastructure Works The Consultant Work Will Include But Not Be Limited To The Following Tasks A Assisting Pimu With The Supervision Of The Engineering Consultants Including Review Of The Monthly And Project Completion Reports Prepared By The Engineering Consultants B Advising Pimu On Technical Aspects And Costs Variations Of Construction C Assisting Pimu With The Management And Administration Of The Construction Contracts D Assisting Pimu With The Supervision Of The Implementation And The Environment And Social Management Plan To Ensure That The Needs Of Vulnerable Groups Of Men Women Persons With Disabilities Youth And Elderly In Keeping With The Approved Gender Equality Guidelines For Implementing Infrastructure Projects E Assisting Pimu With Overseeing Capacity Building Consultancies For The 1 Provision Of Social And Gender Capacity Building Training For The Mwh And Other Government Agencies Road Contractors And Construction Workers And 2 Development And Implementation Of A Gender Responsive Road Safety Awareness Communication Strategy And F Any Other Duties Assigned By Pimu Prospective Candidates Must Be Civil Engineer With Minimum Of The Following Qualifications A A Master S Degree Or Equivalent In A Civil Engineering Discipline Project Management Construction Management Or Related Subject With Minimum Of Five Years Experience In Engineering Design And Supervision Including Project Implementation Or B A Bachelor S Degree In Civil Engineering And A Minimum Of Eight Years Of Suitable Experience In Engineering Design And Supervision Including Project Implementation The Duration Of The Assignment Is Expected To Be For A Period Of Twenty Four 24 Months Goab Now Invites Interested Eligible Individuals To Submit Expressions Of Interest Indicating Qualification And Experience Required To Provide These Services Consultant Shall Be Eligible To Participate If A The Persons Are Citizen Or Bona Fide Residents Of An Eligible Country And B In All Cases The Consultant Has No Arrangement And Undertakes Not To Make Any Arrangements Whereby Any Substantial Part Of The Net Profits Or Other Tangible Benefits Of The Contract Will Accrue Or Be Paid To A Person Not A Citizen Or Bona Fide Resident Of An Eligible Country Eligible Countries Are Member Countries Of Cdb The Attention Of Interested Consultants Is Drawn To Paragraph 1 9 Of Cdb S Guidelines For The Selection And Engagement Of Consultants 2011 In The Assessment Of Submissions Consideration Will Be Given To Qualifications And Experience On Similar Assignments All Information Must Be Submitted In English Further Information May Be Obtained From The Third Address Below Between 0800 And 1600 Hours Mondays To Fridays Four 4 Hard Copies Of The Expressions Of Interest Must Be Received At The First Address No Later Than 1500 Hours On April 11 2018 And One Hard Copy Must Be Sent Simultaneously To Cdb At The Second Address Below The Sealed Envelope Containing Each Submission Should Include The Name And Address Of The Applicant And Shall Be Clearly Marked Expression Of Interest Project Engineer Rehabilitation And Reconstruction Loan Hurricane Irma
