The District Of Lower Bavaria Intends To Build A Rehabilitation Center With An Attached Forensic Aftercare Clinic At The Location Of The Straubing District Hospital. The Project Is Part Of The Restructuring Of The District Clinic And Serves To Improve The Rehabilitation And Reintegration Offers For Forensic Patients Outside The Existing Security Area. A Two-Story New Building Is Planned With A Usable Area Of ​​Approx. 2,100 M². The Building Includes Inpatient Areas For Forensic Patients, An Outpatient Aftercare Facility, Therapy, Administration And Functional Areas As Well As An Underground Car Park.
