The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Jgu) Is Planning To Build The New Institute Of Pharmaceutical And Biomedical Sciences, Or New Pharmacy Building For Short, On The Gutenberg Campus In Mainz. The Project Is Listed Under The Internal Building Number 1355 And Serves As A Replacement Building For The Existing Building Number 2411, Which Can No Longer Be Adequately Renovated For Research And Teaching Due To Its Poor Structural Condition And Outdated Safety Equipment. The New Building Is Intended As A Research And Teaching Building With Extensive Laboratory, Office, Teaching And Communication Areas. It Covers Around 9,500 M² Of Usable Space (Nuf) For Around 165 Employees And Almost 600 Students. In Addition, The Lecture Hall And, If Necessary, A Large Seminar Room Should Also Be Able To Be Used By Other Students From Other Disciplines And Locations. The Gross Floor Area Is Approx. 21,800 M² Gfa(R) Plus Approx. 3,000 M² Gfa(S). The Subject Of The Tender Is The Planning And The Turnkey And Operational Construction Of The New Building, Including The Outdoor Facilities And The Connection To The Transport And Technical Infrastructure, By A General Contractor. The Basis Is A Functional Service Description That Specifies A Result-Oriented Implementation Of The Construction Project. The Central Project Goal Is To Realize The Building On Time, In A Functional Manner And Within Budget. In Addition, Essential Requirements For Sustainability, Accessibility And High Operational Quality Must Be Met. In Particular, A Bnb Silver Certification With An Overall Degree Of Fulfillment Of At Least 65% And A Degree Of Fulfillment Of At Least 80% In The Ecological Quality Criteria Group (Equivalent To Bnb Gold) Are Required For The New Building.
