The Scientific-Technical Services (Sct) Of The Uib Only Have A Quadrupole Gc-Ms Equipment Acquired In 2005, Which Has Presented Connectivity And Chromatogram Acquisition Problems In Recent Months, Becoming Damaged For Long Periods, With The Consequent Detriment To Users And The Development Of Their Research Projects. Due To Its Age, It Is Very Difficult To Obtain Some Spare Parts For Repair. Furthermore, The Gc Analyzer Has Become Obsolete And Does Not Allow The Execution Of Ms/Ms Analysis Or Screening Methods Or Non-Targeted Methods. The Objective Of This Contract Is To Acquire A High-Resolution Analyzer (Q/Tof Or Orbitrap) Coupled To Gc That Allows The Development Of Both Identification And Quantification Methods, In Targeted, Suspect And Non-Targeted Analysis Using Ms/Ms, With Better Sensitivity Than The Analyzer Currently Available. Therefore, At This Time, The Sct Are Not Able To Offer An Adequate Service According To The Needs Of Their Users, As They Do Not Have Any Functional Gc-Ms Equipment For The Qualitative And Quantitative Determination Of Volatile And Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds In Samples Of Environmental, Biological, Food And Industrial Origin Presented In The Different States Of Aggregation Of Matter.
