Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Live Goats/Sheep, Slaughtering, Packaging, and Distribution of Fresh Meat for AQEEQA Q4 2026 to Eligible Beneficiaries in Hargeisa, Somaliland Procurement of Aqeeqa and Adak Q4 meat to 3,490 Households each receiving 8kg of fresh shoats meat with a total of 27,920Kgs of fresh meat from 1745 Animals (40%sheep & 60% goats) with all other associated works including purchase and delivery of Shoats slaughtering, and distribution of Fresh Meat to the beneficiaries in Baidoa districts (100%). - Provision of security, - Government permitted Slaughterhouse, Slaughtering - Packaging the fresh meat. - Transport to & offloading at the distribution sites & - disposal of waste. Criteria The Animal (Shoats) from which the 27,920Kgs of fresh meat from 1745 Animals (Sheep and Goats) is sourced from must align the below specification: Animals must be fat, healthy and strong without defects, injuries or lesions. Should be 2 years of age & above. Must meet sharia compliance & without abnormalities. Slaughterhouse must be certified by government. Slaughtering team shall perform Islamic rituals Each package should contain 8 Kg fresh meat. Transportation from the slaughter site to the site of distribution and all distribution services will be done by the suppliers personnel under the supervision of IRS personnel. The supplier must ensure the hygiene and sanitation of the slaughtering centre and his staff/personnel must conform hygiene and sanitation measures as per Sharia protocols.
