General Procurement Notice for Procurement of Consulting Services for the Citywide Inclusive Sanitation Planning and Investment Preparation for Zomba City, Malawi. Objectives of the project To enhance the institutional and technical readiness of Zomba City to mobilise and implement inclusive, fragility-sensitive and climate-resilient citywide sanitation investments. The consulting firm will be selected using the Quality- and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the applicable Bank procurement requirements. 3. Components of the project The project includes the following two (2) components: a. Component 1: CWIS Planning and Investment Preparation will develop the technical and strategic foundations for sanitation investment, including system assessments, preparation of the CWIS Master Plan and strategic frameworks, development of a financing and resource mobilisation strategy, inclusion-sensitive beneficiary mapping, and preparation of bankable investment packages with integrated environmental, social, and climate considerations. b. Component 2: Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement will support implementation through coordination of the Project Implementation Unit, stakeholder consultations and validation processes, capacity building, resource mobilisation activities, and monitoring and reporting to ensure effective delivery of project outputs and readiness for subsequent investment.
