The Municipality Lacks The Necessary Hazard Zone Maps For Flooding In Relevant Waterways, And There Is A Need For Landslide Risk Assessments In Several Areas. In 2026, The Municipality Has Been Promised A Financial Grant From The Norwegian Directorate Of Waterways And Energy (Nve) To Carry Out An Investigation Of Safety Against Landslides In Steep Terrain In Nine Areas And Hazard Zone Mapping Of Floods In Four Waterways. To Ensure A Comprehensive And Efficient Implementation, The Assignment Is Announced As A Single Procurement. The Procurement Will Provide The Municipality With A Basis In Line With Relevant Requirements And Guidelines, Including Nves Guidelines For Flood Mapping And Current Requirements For Safety Against Natural Hazards.
