The City Of Freiburg Im Breisgau Intends To Procure, Introduce And Operate An Integrated Software-As-A-Service Solution (Saas) For The Areas Of School Child Care, School Catering And Personnel Deployment Planning For Substitute Staff. The Background To The Call For Tenders Is The Increasing Technical, Organizational And Administrative Requirements For The Management Of These Areas Of Responsibility. The Existing Procedures Are Currently Supported By Various Individual Solutions And Manual Workflows And Do Not Enable Consistent Processing Of The Interconnected Business Processes. With The Introduction Of A Modern, Web-Based Overall Solution For Around 65 Schools, The Administrative Processes Are To Be Digitized, Standardized And More Closely Interlinked. At The Same Time, The Software Is Intended To Support Service-Oriented Collaboration Between Administration, Schools, School Child Care Facilities, Caterers, Guardians And Other User Groups Involved. The Software Must Be Ready For Productive Use By The Beginning Of The 2027/2028 School Year At The Latest, Probably By September 11, 2027. The Contract Term Is 4 Years After The Order Is Placed (Expected April 2027) With An Extension Option Of 3 X 2 Years. The Maximum Contract Term Is Therefore 10 Years.
