The Aim Is To Create An Integrated Research Environment In Which Complex Materials And Processes Can Be Examined And Scientifically Evaluated Across Different Space, Time And Energy Scales. The Building Bundles The Activities Of Around 15 - 20 Working Groups From Materials Science, Engineering And Physics And Enables A Continuous Process Chain From Material Synthesis To Preparative And Analytical Processes To Data-Driven Evaluation. Highly Specialized Laboratory And Measurement Environments Are Provided For This Purpose, Which Meet The Special Requirements Of Modern High-Precision Research. The New Research Building N03 Comprises A Total Of Around 4,000 M2 Of Main Usable Space And Is Designed As A Functionally Clearly Structured, Technically Efficient And At The Same Time Flexibly Adaptable Building.
