The Purpose Of This Contract Is The Execution Of The Conservation Works Of Rural Roads In The Quilmer Sector, Commune Of Teodoro Schmidt, Specifically In The Quilmer – Headquarters Sections, With An Approximate Length Of 2.72 Km, And Quilmer – Subsector N°3, With An Approximate Length Of 4.50 Km, With The Purpose Of Recovering And Maintaining The Conditions Of Passability, Functionality And Safety Of The Existing Road Infrastructure, Favoring The Connectivity Of The Inhabitants Of The Sectors. Benefited Rural Areas.The Main Purpose Of The Works Is To Restore And Improve The Geometry Of The Road, Recover The Rolling Surface, Through The Execution Of Profiling, Re-Profiling And Reloading Of Material, Repair And Improvement Of The Road Surface, Cleaning Of The Strip And Installation Of Culverts, According To The Particular Conditions Presented By Each Section And In Accordance With The Needs Identified On The Ground.The Conservation And Improvement Of The Rolling Surface Is Contemplated By Scarifying, Profiling And Regularizing The Existing Surface, Considering An Approximate Intervention Of 3 To 5 Cm Deep, Depending On The Conditions Of The Road. Subsequently, The Incorporation And Distribution Of Integral Stone Material And/Or Crushed Stone Material Must Be Carried Out To Form The Subbase And Stabilized Base, As Appropriate, Proceeding To Its Adequate Leveling, Profiling And Compaction.Likewise, The Contract Considers The Execution Of Complementary Tasks Necessary To Ensure The Proper Functioning Of The Road Infrastructure, Including The Cleaning Of The Road Strip And The Installation, Replacement Or Improvement Of Sewers In Those Points Where It Is Technically Necessary, With The Purpose Of Promoting The Adequate Runoff Of Surface Waters And Avoiding Premature Deterioration Of The Platform And Rolling Surface.The Contract Seeks To Respond To The Existing Road Maintenance Needs In The Quilmer – Headquarters And Quilmer – Subsector No. 3 Sectors, Allowing The Improvement Of The Travel Conditions Of Residents, Users, Private Vehicles, School Transportation, Emergency Services, Transportation Of Products And Other Users Of The Rural Road Network, Thereby Contributing To The Strengthening Of The Connectivity And Accessibility Of The Rural Communities Of The Commune.The Works Must Be Executed In Accordance With The Technical Specifications, The Particular Conditions Of Each Section And The Technical Requirements Established In The Highway Manual, Volume N°7, “Road Maintenance”, In Its Current Edition, In Addition To The Other Applicable Standards, Specifications And Technical Provisions.
