Metsähallitus Metsätalous Oy And Metsähallitus Luontopalvelut (Later Metsähallitus) Procures Crushed Stone And Spawning Gravel For Forest Roads, Construction Projects And Stream Renovations, Either From A Soil Stockpile (Monttu) Or Delivered And Spread On The Forest Road (Gravel Service Description, Appendix 1). The Tenderer Can Also Offer The Transport Of The Soil He Sells In His Offer, In Which Case He Offers A Multiplier In Relation To The Graveling Fee Table (Appendix 2). Metsähallitus Compares The Location, Supply And Prices Of The Land Plots Of The Bidders Approved For The Framework Arrangement For Each Use Site. Crushed Stone Is Purchased From The Provider With The Lowest Overall Cost. In This Case, The Transport Cost With The Equipment Of The Seller Of The Crushed Stone Or Metsähallitus Contractual Partner Is Added To The Crushed Stone Price. Before Placing An Order Or Contract, The Customer Checks The Availability With The Providers Contact Person. Metsähallitus Reserves The Right To Use Its Own Crushed Stone Regardless Of The Bids Accepted For The Framework Arrangement. Metsähallitus Also Reserves The Right To Purchase Crushed Stone From Other Suppliers, If The Necessary Crushed Stone Cannot Be Found Within A Reasonable Distance (Less Than 20 Km) From The Soil Sites Approved For The Framework Arrangement. If The Value Of An Individual Procurement Exceeds The National Threshold Value (€60,000), A Contract Is Drawn Up (Appendix 3A).
