Engineering Services – External Project Management Teams For The Transport And Infrastructure Department (Vif) Canton Of Lucerne. The Transport And Infrastructure Department (Vif) Of The Canton Of Lucerne Is Procuring External Project Management Capacities For The Road Planning Department. The Aim Is To Support The Development And Management Of Civil Engineering Projects In The Areas Of Road Infrastructure, Engineering Structures And Natural Hazards From Project Planning To Approval (Sia Sub-Phases 31 Preliminary Project To 33 Approval, Partly Including 21 Preliminary Study). The Procurement Involves External Project Management Teams. A Team Consists Of An Experienced Senior Project Manager As Team Leader And Several Project Managers. The Teams Take Over The Management And Control Of The Projects Assigned To Them For Vif, Coordinate The Commissioned Project Planning Teams And Ensure Cooperation With Authorities, Communities And Other Stakeholders. The Project Portfolio To Be Processed Includes Expansion And Repair Projects Of Various Sizes And Complexity. This Includes, In Particular, Road Projects Including Drainage And Utility Lines, Projects To Implement The Requirements Of The Equal Opportunities For Persons With Disabilities Act, And Engineering Structures Such As Culverts, Overpasses And Underpasses Or Retaining Walls. The External Teams Are Integrated Into The Vif Organization And Work Closely With The Internal Specialist Departments. You Report Directly To The Head Of The Road Planning Department. The Commissioning Takes Place Via A Framework Agreement With A Term Of Five Years. The Specific Services Are Triggered On A Project-Specific Basis Via Call-Off Contracts.
