The Strelasund Bridge Is A Steel Bridge On The Db Route 6321 From Stralsund To Saßnitz. It Spans The Strelasund In The Stralsund Rügendamm – Altefähr Section At Railway Kilometer 228.405. The L296 Overpass Runs Parallel To The Eü. Both Bridges Are Founded On The Same Bridge Piers. The Original Strelasund Bridge Was Put Into Operation In 1936. In 1989 A General Repair Was Carried Out With The Installation Of The Current Superstructure. The Entire Bridge Is 540 M Long And Is Divided Into 10 Fields Of 54 M Each. A Comprehensive Renovation Of The Corrosion Protection Is Planned. The Street-Side Service Route And The Cable Duct Under The Service Route Cover Plates Were Rebuilt And Protected From Corrosion In 2026.
