Tenders are invited for Procurement of Student A Type Tables and A Type Chairs for Schools (Manufacturing and Supply) Non-refundable Fee (Rs.): 5000 Bid Security (Rs.): 45,100.00 A complete set of bidding documents in duplicate may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Zonal Director of Education. Documents will be available from 21.10.2026 until 02.11.2026 on working days between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs, upon payment of the non-refundable fee indicated above. Payment should be made by cash at the Accounts Branch. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate, each in a separate cover, to the specified office at the address mentioned above, on or before 15.00 hrs on 02.11.2026. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing, in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend. Bids shall remain valid for the period stated in the table after the bid submission deadline. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security submitted to the office of the relevant Zonal Director of Education. The bid security must be issued by either a reputed bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka or the Construction Guarantee Fund (CGF). The bid security shall remain valid for the number of days specified in the table, starting from 02.11.2026. A Pre-bid Meeting will be conducted on 26.10.2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the relevant Zonal Education Office. Interested bidders may participate at their own expense.
