The Adult Custody Division (Acd) Of The Bc Corrections Branch Is Interested In Procuring A Single-Source Uniform Provider With A Web-Based Ordering And Management System Who Will Work Directly With Acd In Addressing All It’S Uniform Needs, Paying Specific Attention To Quality, Security, And Consistency.Acd Operates Ten Correctional Centres Throughout Bc Within The Following Locations: Prince George, Kamloops, Oliver, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge, Surrey, Coquitlam, Victoria And Nanaimo. Correctional Professionals Working Within The Acd Are Provided With A Standard Uniform Worn By All Employees While On Duty. There Are Approximately 1,725 Uniformed Officers Within The Acd.Inventory Management And Warehousing Is Required, Ensuring That Sufficient Inventory Levels Are Maintained By The Contractor To Support The Relevant Lead Times And Service Level Requirements Of Each Item, And That All Uniform Items Are Stored In A Secure Facility With Restricted Access That Is Located In Canada.The Contractor Will Provide A Web-Based Online Uniform Order, Processing And Distribution System. All Orders Placed Will Be Done Via An On-Line Catalogue And The Uniform Items Will Be Delivered To The Correctional Centre Where The Employee Is Assigned.The Province Currently Utilizes A Uniform Items Point System. Proponents May Propose A Point-Based Uniform Management Solution For Managing Employee Uniform Entitlements And Replacement Allowances.The Initial Term Of The Resulting Contract Will Be For Three(3) Years With The Option To Extend, At The Sole Discretion Of The Province, For Two(2), Two(2)-Year Terms.Further Details About The Scope And Requirements Of This Opportunity Are Found Within This Rfp.
