Tenders are invited for GIS-Based Drone LiDAR Survey, Mapping Services and Capacity Building for the Bulolo Resilient Road Project in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE: The objective of this assignment is to acquire high-resolution Drone LiDAR and imagery data, generate survey-grade GIS mapping products, and strengthen institutional capacity for geospatial analysis and climate-resilient infrastructure planning. Specifically, the Consultant will conduct Drone LiDAR and imagery surveys along the Bulolo Road corridor and designated priority hazard sites, generate high-resolution geospatial datasets and survey-grade mapping products, including point clouds, digital terrain models (DTM), digital surface models (DSM), orthomosaics, contours, and related GIS outputs, and deliver quality-assured data to support climate risk assessments, engineering design, and infrastructure planning. The assignment will also include practical training, capacity building, and knowledge transfer for GGGI, DoWH, CCDA, CEPA, and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen institutional capacity and support the long-term application of GIS and LiDAR technologies for climate-resilient infrastructure planning and development in Papua New Guinea.
