Given The Volume Of Current And Upcoming Curricula Revisions, There Is A Continuing Need For Specialized French-Language Editorial Services. This Work Requires Advanced Linguistic Expertise, Knowledge Of Ontario French Language Standards, And Experience With Curriculum Related Materials. These Materials Include, But Are Not Limited To, Memos, Reports, Surveys, Long Term Plans, Key Changes, Webinars, Presentation Decks, And Materials That Are Not Directly Curriculum Related. The Editor’S Workload Also Includes Revising Curriculum Context, Parent Guides, Glossaries, Graphics And Other Items In French. Scope Of Work As Part Of A Long-Term Strategy Beginning In 2024, Fltlb Established A Pool Of Qualified French‑Language Editors Through A Request For Bids (Rfb) In Compliance With The Ops Procurement Directive. This Pool Was Created To Ensure Timely, Flexible Access To Editorial Capacity For Curriculum And Related Materials. This Model Has Proven To Be Effective, Efficient And High Value. External Editors Bring Specialized Expertise In Language, Style And Standards, While Providing Flexible, As Required And On Demand Capacity That Complements Internal Resources. This Pool Approach Has Enabled The Branch To Manage Fluctuating Workloads, Advance Multiple Projects Concurrently, And Maintain Rigorous Editorial Quality Without Over Reliance On A Single Internal Position.
