Tenders are invited for Construction of Handungamuwa Bridge in Hiripitiyagama - Kala Oya - Kala Medawachchiya Road (5 + 850) Bid Guarantee Value (Rs.): 6,087,000.00 Non-Refundable Bid Document Fee (Rs.): 52,200.00 Interested bidders may obtain further details from the General Manager, Provincial Road Development Authority, N.C.P., Anuradhapura (Tel. No. 025-2222505) and bid documents may be inspected at the same office between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days from 19.10.2026 until 09.11.2026. A complete set of bid documents in English language may be obtained by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Provincial Road Development Authority between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days from 19.10.2026 until 09.11.2026 upon payment of the non-refundable procurement document fee to the Accounts Division of Provincial Road Development Authority, N.C.P., Anuradhapura, or on submission of the receipt obtained from the Accounts Division upon producing the bank slip on crediting the above amount to the official Bank Account No. 0001472049 maintained at the Anuradhapura Branch of Bank of Ceylon in favour of General Manager, Provincial Road Development Authority, North Central Province. Bids should be submitted in duplicate and the Original and Duplicate should be inserted in separate covers and both covers should be reinserted in a single cover and may either be sent by registered post addressed to: Chief Secretary, Chief Secretariat, 4th Floor, Provincial Council Building Complex, Harischandra Mawatha, Anuradhapura or hand carried and deposited in the Bid Box to receive before 11.00 a.m. on 10.11.2026. The name and number of the project should be clearly mentioned on the left-hand top corner of the outer envelope. Bids will be opened immediately after closing at 11.00 a.m. on 10.11.2026 and the bidder or authorized representative may be present at the opening. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be rejected. All bids should be accompanied by a bid security relevant to each project obtained only as per the forms included in the procurement documents from a licensed commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in favour of: Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Highways, Rural Development, Housing, Environment and Womens Affairs, Rural Infrastructure and Engineering Constructions (North Central Province) Bid security should be valid until the date mentioned in the table above.
