Tenders are invited for NVC and Outreach Consultant for the Sports for Peace Project (S4P) Project Overview The Sport for Peace project is launching a new phase that builds on the achievements and lessons learned from previous interventions. The project uses sport as an educational and community-building tool to promote social cohesion, peaceful coexistence, and conflict transformation. During this phase, the project will strengthen the capacities of coaches, facilitators, volunteers, and teachers in southern Lebanon, enabling them to integrate Sport for Peace methodologies into their work with children and youth. Objectives The project aims to: Strengthen the capacities of coaches, facilitators, volunteers, and teachers. Equip participants with practical knowledge and tools related to coaching, facilitation, and Sport for Development and Peace. Enhance communication, facilitation, leadership, and conflict transformation skills. Promote volunteerism, community engagement, and social cohesion through sport. Context The Sport for Peace project is an innovative initiative that promotes peacebuilding and social cohesion through the transformative power of sport. Drawing on successful experiences in Lebanon and internationally, the project creates opportunities for people from diverse communities to interact, cooperate, and build positive relationships. The project engages youth, schools, parents, community organizations, and sports clubs through educational sport activities that foster inclusion, mutual respect, tolerance, teamwork, and fair play. By integrating sport with conflict transformation methodologies, participants develop both personal and social competencies that contribute to peaceful coexistence. As the project expands into southern Lebanon, targeted outreach and community engagement are essential to ensure the successful identification and recruitment of suitable participants. Tasks to be completed by the consultant: Scope of the TOR: The consultant will support the implementation team in preparing for the upcoming training cycle by carrying out the following tasks: Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage potential participants. Support the organization and facilitation of introductory meetings with target groups and local stakeholders. Assist the project team in the participant selection process according to the agreed criteria. Identify and coordinate suitable venues for workshops in southern Lebanon. Coordinate communication with selected participants and support the invitation process for the first workshop. Expected Deliverables The consultant is expected to deliver: A list of potential participants reached through outreach activities. Support documentation from introductory meetings. Recommendations and logistical support during the participant selection process. A shortlist of suitable workshop venues in southern Lebanon. Confirmation that selected participants have been contacted and invited to attend the first workshop. Scope of Work: 34 workshops over the duration of the contract.
