Peterborough City Council Is Looking To Procure The Services Of A Specialist Consultancy, With Proven Experience In Cemetery And Burial Ground Site Identification, Assessment And Development., To Undertake A Cemetery Site Feasibility Assessment And Wider Site Search.The Requirement Comprises Two Mandatory Workstreams:- A Detailed Feasibility Assessment Of A Nominated Site Of Approximately 19 Acres Within The Peterborough Administrative Area.- A Wider Search, Screening Exercise And Comparative Appraisal Of Alternative Sites Capable Of Meeting The Council'S Future Burial Requirements.The Successful Consultant Will Be Required To Provide Geo-Environmental, Geological, Hydrogeological, Planning And Deliverability Assessments, Identify Potential Constraints And Opportunities, Assess The Suitability Of Sites For Cemetery Development, And Provide Recommendations For Future Investigation And Progression.The Commission Will Provide The Council With A Robust, Evidence-Based Assessment Of The Nominated Site Together With An Auditable Search And Appraisal Of Alternative Options To Support Future Decision-Making.
