Descriptionthe Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Enter Into A Contract For The Purchase Of A Gc-Hrms System That Can Perform Quantitative Analysis At Ultra-Low Levels Of Environmental Toxins In Complex Matrices. The Marine Research Institute (Hi) Is Among Europes Largest Marine Research Institutes, And Our Laboratories Are The National Reference Laboratory (Nrl) For Several Parameters Within The Marine Area. Now We Want To Expand Our Instrument Park With A Gc-Hrms System That Can Perform Quantitative Analysis At Ultra-Low Levels Of Environmental Toxins In Complex Matrices. The System Shall Deliver The Sensitivity, Selectivity, Mass Resolution And Quantitative Performance Required For Routine Monitoring, Research, Method Development And Activities At A National Reference Laboratory. Primary Applications Include: · Pcdd/F · Dioxin-Like Pcbs (Dl-Pcbs) · Other Halogenated Pops And Dioxin-Like Compounds The Most Important Matrices Will Include: · Marine Biota And Seafood · Feed Ingredients And Fish Feed · Biological/Human Tissue · Sediment And Water With This Variety Of Potentially Relevant Applications, Ease Of Use And Minimal Downtime Become Very Important. In Addition To Its Primary Use For Quantitative Analysis Of Dioxins And Dioxin-Like Compounds, The System Will Support Method Development And Broader Gc-Hrms Applications, Including Targeted Quantitative Analysis And Screening Of Volatile And Semi-Volatile Organic Contaminants. Additional Applications May Include Brominated Flame Retardants, Chlorinated Paraffins, Pesticides, Pahs, Plastic-Associated Chemicals, Pfas-Related Compounds That Can Be Analyzed By Gc, And Any Other Future Contaminants. As Part Of The Evaluation, The Offeror Shall Analyze A Set Of Samples Provided By Hi To Demonstrate The Performance Of The Offered Gc-Hrms System For Pcdd/F, Dioxin-Like And Non-Dioxin-Like Pcbs, Pbdes And Hrms Screening. The Tenderer Must Deliver A Technical Report Describing The Analytical Method, Instrument Configuration, Procedures For Data Collection And Data Processing, Quality Control And Analytical Results.
